vegas 6 help with vms

Hey everyone,
I was wondering if anybody knows if you can open vegas movie studio platinum 6 projects in vegas 6??? The reason i ask is because i want to upgrade to vegas 6 soon.....

any help is greatly appreciated thanks....

Well, since you're considering the upgrade anyway, i'll assume you've downloaded the Vegas 6 demo and have been playing with it. Have you tried opening Vegas Studio projects? Seems like this would be a pretty simple experiment.

I don't have Studio 6 so i can't try it. However, i know that Vegas 3 opened Video Factory 1 files, Vegas 4 opened Video Factory 1 & 2 files, Vegas 5 opened VF 1&2 and Studio 3 & 4 files. I think it's extremely likely that Vegas 6 will open all Studio files.
