Vegas 6 preview window

I am anewbee to editing and vegas 6. i have captured some video but cannot view it on the preview window as the preview windowdoes not come up when you push video preview under the view tab.
Any suggestions

Sounds like you may have moved it "off the screen". The simplest way to get everything back to default is to hold down CTRL-SHIFT while you start Vegas. This will reset everything back to factory defaults.

Alternately, you may try resizing your screen and then seeing if you can find the window.

thank you very much. it worked. I have spent hours trying to figure out how to replace the window. i can now return to my editing.
