Has anyone gotten around to creating a Vegas 6 render test?
I would be especially interested to know how V6 compares to V5 on a dual processor system. It would have been nice if Sony would release a few specific details on how V6 was improved for the multiprocessor world.
One of the Sony engineers created a VERY informative post that describes, in great mathematical detail, what sort of speed improvements you should expect, and why. Even if you don't follow all the math details, it is worth skimming to help understand which projects will benefit the most, and which computer configurations are likely to be able to most effectively use the new code.
