Vegas 64bit oddity, bug?

Vegas 9e, Windows7 64bit, 32gb RAM, Nividia Quadro4000

I am having some problems with my 64bit version of 9e that I never recall seeing in the 32bit version. I've tried several re-installs and have even gone though a couple of system drive wipes but the oddity/bug remains.

The first clue that something is amiss is when I open Vegas I notice that the project immediately has an "unsaved asterisk" beside the project name before I have done ANYTHING to the program. That's odd.

So, I check the undo drop down menu and for some reason Vegas automatically includes an "undo track selection". I don't have any idea why.

This is not such a big deal but I notice when I paste more than one video track that sometimes Vegas seems to lose it's mind. The cursor jumps to another position far down the timeline from where I pasted. When I look at the undo drop down menu I see that after my paste Vegas has added an "undo track selection" option as well. Weird.

Another issue that may or may not be related is that often if I try to do a couple of Ctrl-Z quickly back to back Vegas will CRASH. This happens a lot now but never happened when I was using XP on a 32bit system. It does do it on Vegas 9 32bit on Windows 7 however. This seems to point a finger at Windows 7 but I haven't heard anyone else complain about these issues.

Erik
