Vegas 6c Update - access not happenned?

I'm on a mission.

As with V6a V6b, I still have the V6c Sony Self Extracting Packager update file on my Desktop - and I still have it on my Desktop.

I just thought I'd investigate this file further. Here is some of the "details" in the Properties of that update file.

. .. well . .. here's the thing!

I didn't access it yesterday!

All I did, yesterday, was to load Vegas for working.

Is it at all possible that having this 6c update on my Desktop AND loading an already installed 6c update, is there some kind of interaction going on? Is this something I should be seeing? Loading VEgas6c leaving an "access" note within the Vegas 6c Sony Self Extracting Packager? Would this - as it reports it has been access - would this affect the running of Vegas, and for me my inability to VIEW Media Manager?

Totally odd!

As soon as you right-clicked to check the properties, you accessed the file.
Try right-clicking any icon on your desktop and checking it's properties. It'll show you todays date.

Yes, Mario, I do realise that, hence what I said:

"I didn't access it yesterday!

It showed yesterday's date as it having been accesed - I didn't click on it or access it, yesterday - do you see my point? I really do hope so!

I dunno. I don't remember seeing that with a or b, and after i installed c i deleted that file off the desktop probably within a couple of seconds.
