Vegas 7.0 - Exception 0xC0000005 (access violatio

I had some crashes yesterday too.
I thought that maybe it had to do with the other softwares, or the computer that has not been reboot for a long while.

But today after reboot and only Vegas running Vegas keeps crashing.

This mostly happens when I paste a pan/ crop keyframe from one event to another.

===========

The rest of the dump means absolutely nothing except to the programmer.

An exception error is almost always memory related. This one says that Vegas tried to access memory because another program has it reserved or is in use. It could be a poorly written driver or you are running conflicting programs, like multiple virus scanners.

Hi Steve Mann,

The only AV program that I have running in the BG is Norton 2008.

Is it possible to identfy which other software could intrupt the memory usage of Vegas?

Thanks,
VMP

Disable Norton while you're editing.
It's a resource hog and Vegas will be much happier.
