vegas 7-splitting file on capture

my files are getting split into small sections durring capture. Where is the preference to disable this feature? If i'm capturing a 1 hour tape, i want my clip to be 1 hour, not broken up into several small cllips. thanks

Turn off scene detection.

If your clips are sequential,

tape 1-clip1, tape 1-clip2........

You can just select them all and drag them to the timeline and hit Render new track and that will give you one clip with no loss in Quality if it's DV.

i don't see the RENDER NEW TRACK option
