How does one go about getting a trial copy of Vegas 8.

Probably wait until Monday, Sept. 10 when Vegas Pro 8 is officially released, then check here http://www.sonycreativesoftware.com/download/step1.asp?catid=1 to see if they also put up a trial version at that time.

Of course the downloads will probably be swamped both with eager purchasers and with people just wanting to check out the trial.
