I have so far re-installed Vegas 8.1 Pro twice.
I opened a project that contained .mov, .png and .m2t. I tested and successfully rendered in 32-bit mode. Albiet, the second half of the timeline showed red thumbnails.
I opened another project and it did not understand what .mov and .m2t files were. It asked me to replace them. I reselected all the files and the project opened. I had the preview in the preview window, but there was no timeline, including no play, pause, buttons, etc.
Anyways, I un-installed Vegas 8.1 and re-installed it. The project opened fine. I save the project under a different name. Opened it back up and no timeline. Video was present in preview window!
I tried changing the RAM preview settings, but it got itself into a loop about telling me to be careful. I cold never say cancel, OK or Apply.
Anyone else experienced the above issues? I am going to have to stick with 8c for now, eventhough 32 bit mode still doesn't work.
