Vegas 8 & multi core systems

Vegas 7 can utilize all 4 cores in a quad core system during the rendering process. Has anyone heard if Vegas 8 will be able to utilize more than 4 cores at the same time in a single render? I have a dual-quad core machine (8 cores) and would love to be able to use the most cores possible during a render in order to reduce my render times.

Any help?? Thanks.

Vegas 7 can use 8 cores if you adjust the internal settings. You can screw up your machine if you adjust the wrong settings, so I'll leave you to find out how to do that.

Using 8 cores may or may not give you better render times, you'll have to experiment to find out.
