Vegas 8 Pro & Platinum Problems!

I'm new at this, sorry! I've got Vegas 8 Pro. My buddy has Vegas 8 Platinum. We filmed some work to go on a DVD. I layed it out in Pro at my place & saved as Vegas files. I transfered the raw footage & the saved Vegas files to his computer but Platinum doesn't want to open them. How do we get around this or Is he going to have to upgrade to Pro if we want to share files and work on file this way?

This really isn't a scripting question but...

Vegas Pro 8 will load the VMS projects but VMS will NOT load the Vegas Pro 8 projects. So you can't go the direction you're trying to go but you could go the opposite direction.

It would be best if he just upgraded to Pro. (Then you could BOTH run scripts - getting back on topic with this forum).
