Vegas 8 - Problems on Framework 3.0 installation

Hi...

I'm not being age to install VEGAS 8. This is what is happening:

1. After starting the installation process, a message tells me that installing the Framework 3.0 is required.

2. Then, I click on install Framework 3.0, but after few moments the following message apears: "Cannot Initialize Resources".

3. Then I click on "OK" and a new message apears: "Requirements not met. Press Ok to Exit Install".

4. The installation is terminated.

Do you know what I can do to solve this issue?

try manually installing .net 3. that might work.

How can I do that? Is there an "exe" file in the Vegas disc? Or may I download from an especific website?
