[ I posted this a few days ago in the very quiet Vegas Audio forum... I'm hoping one of you guys might have an answer :) ]
I'm dabbling with the Vegas 8 demo, after not having bothered with 7 at all. The major thing irking me at the moment is the "Synchronization Offset" red highlight. I understand the need for this feature when working with video (which I don't) but I'm baffled as to why it's affecting audio events. Seemingly if I do any editing on a project, I'm quickly getting these red highlights everywhere.
Very easy repro - add audio to a project, split a chunk out of the middle, move it away from it's original position. Bam - you've got a red highlight. Now I really hope I'm missing a way to switch this off, because I can't find a way to do this anywhere. It's incredibly annoying and is making my projects pretty much unintelligible.
Is everyone else seeing this? Is it a bug? Please tell me I can turn this off!
Thanks
Ben
