Vegas 9.0c and Swfs

Hello, I'm trialling version 9.0c and I just opened a project I completed using version 8. It used several swfs. These play fine with version 8 but with 9 the playback shows the swf as shrunk filling just the top left corner. Same in project media. If I render the video it does seem to play correctly. Is this a known bug? It makes using swfs in a project impossible. Could 9.0b be better?

Thanks,

Kit

Just out of curiosity I downloaded a couple of swf files and tried them out in 9c. I'm not seeing the issues you are. Everything is working fine. Any chance you can upload your swf file somewhere so that we can have a look?

Or at least list its file attributes as well as your various settings (in detail).

Thanks for taking the trouble, Rob. The SWFs were creating using Swish Max.3. settings used for the swfs:

SWF4, off-stage masks removed
frame width 873, heigh 480, frames per second 25
Image quality, image resolution and shape quality all 100%
Total number of frames 480

Vegas 8c works fine. Vegas 9c renders OK but has problems otherwise. I'd like to be able to find a reason to upgrade but upgrading should make things better rather than introducing problems. Does 9c have and extra view settings to adjust that could account for the difference.

Thanks again,

Kit

PS If it makes a difference the movie is NTSC DV widescreen
