It hasn't been released. It's been officially announced.

Other than Beta testers, folks haven't got their hands on it yet, so there's data to answer your question.

Do the beta testers have any input or is the NDA still in effect?

well, they're not even allowed to say if they're under NDA (if their NDA is anything like the NDA's that I've been under ).

so you aren't able to know who is even testing or has tested, and they can't say a word about their testing experience ( again, assuming things are running standard more or less ).

I am sure many of us are interested in this question too, but I think we just have to wait another 2 weeks time...

Not certain if this link will help:-

Edward Troxel's recent Newsletter about SV9 also has some useful information.

I guess the above (below?) in this thread answers my question (as in, no one knows yet - but one would think it would be in the Vegas Pro 9 specs...) - but does anyone know if Vegas 9 will be able to export 24 Mbps AVCHD files? (Pro 8 is limited to 16 Mbps AVCHD at export, darn - but these AVCHD converstons from HDV authored to red laser disks using standard DVD blanks and DVD writer do look wonderful...)
