Vegas 9 can't find my .mov clips.

I am working on a project with a bunch of .mov clips. The reason is that with the Quicktime .mov format and png compression, I can have a transparent alpha layer in the clips without uncompressed file sizes.

Anyway, if I open a project with these .mov clips in Vegas 9, it can't find any of the .mov clips. If I go through the search and replace process to put them back on the timeline, Vegas 9 still can't find them.

I believe this is a bug. Vegas 8 handles this without incident. Also, Vegas 9 has no problem with these clips when I put them on the timeline directly. It just can't find the .mov clips in a .veg project.

Yes, i think it's a bug.

For me it just lost a few of the clips, not all of them. A few random *.mov files were replaced with other *.mov files.

my timeline was: clipA clipB clipC clipD
the project opened up as: clipA clipB clipZ clipD

The funny thing is that it believed clipZ was clipC, so I couldn't even replace the file. I had to delete clipZ from the project list and then reopen the project and re-link clipC when it declared it was missing.

This only happened with the *.mov files. The *.avi files were fine.
