Hi, since upgrading to Vegas 9 I've had one problem which is really getting to me.
If I use an event velocity envelope to slow footage down and render it out as an MP4 its fine. Smooth as butter.
If I render to DVDA MPEG2, default settings its also fine. However the interlaced look is awful (source is 1080i from a Sony FX1). So we always used to change the render settings so the field order was None-Progressive. This always gave that nice progressive look as well as smooth slow mo. but since going to Vegas 9 (any version) the end result is a really stuttery finish.
But as I said, MP4 progressive is fine, just DVD has a problem.
Thanks
UPDATE: Been doing some testing, I can use any of the other MainConcept MPEG2 profiles such as Blu-Ray and they come out fine progressive. Infact, its not until I change the render frame size to the DVD 720x256 that it all starts to go wrong.
