Vegas 9 Timeline Video Thumbnail Control

[Sorry if this is an FAQ].

I've noticed the thumbnail representation of media on the timeline is not continuous, relative to what I see in Vegas 8. In Vegas 9 I see a timeline preview, followed by a bunch of white space (no preview), then another preview, and so on.

How do you increase the frequency of with which timeline media is sampled and a timeline thumbnail preview created?

Go to Options>Preferances>Video tab and go down 4 lines to Thumbnails to show in Video Events click on the down arrow and select what to want.

Thanks Ed, that did it.

Apparently the default must have been "All" in previous versions of Vegas, as I do not recall ever changing this parameter before.
