vegas and 2408

I am in hell. I can't get Vegas to run well with my PC. It's been one thing after another and the MOTU 2408 has been no help either.

I just installed Windows XP to try and make the system more solid but the PCI-324 drivers that control the MOTU 2408 are creating all kinds of noise. I installed the latest drivers that MOTU says are compatible with XP but they don't seem to work. I have the Wave MME box checked. I can route fine but there is so much noise.
I never had this problem with 98SE.

When I play my audio through my Sound Blaster, it is clean. Any ideas what's up with the 2408? Has anybody else had this problem? Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Michael

Make sure you have the MOTU console box checked for 'enable MME support for legacy non-fully WDM com[pliant applications bottom left. Don't know if SF have addressed this in Vegas 3 ....

i'm posting a similar query just now.

Hi Michael
Could you e-mail me your console and Cuemix settings?
