Vegas and Black Magic Infinity Pro

Hi,

Will Black Magic Infinity Pro work (along default video card in PC) to preview on plasma as external monitor or is there some trouble reported with BMIP and Vegas working together?

I was planing on have the Vegas program (time line etc.) on a 24" monitor (DVI) and a plasma screen for preview.

No. Currently, Vegas does not support the Intensity Pro.

However, Vegas will read and write uncompressed YUV video files generated by the Intensity, but it will not read or write its MJPEG files, nor will it use the Intensity for preview from the timeline. I'm having to use Premiere to realize the full potential of the Intensity.

I'd really like to see the Intensity fully integrated into Vegas, but according to Blackmagic Design, it's Sony that's "dragging its feet" in making this happen.

OK, sad to hear - it looked like a good product.

Any suggestions how I can hook up a plasma to my PC and have Vegas on the 24" LCD and preview on the plasma - preferably without kameras, but instead something PC->Plasma.

Naturally with full support by Vegas
