I would suspect that the only reason to hold onto Video Factory is that
you might come across an occasional old .vf project file that might not
open properly in Vegas. I doubt this is a real huge issue though. I've
opened dozens of .vf files in Vegas without a hitch so far.

On the other hand, VF probably takes less than 50MB of drive space. If
you're not really cramped for space, why delete it? I'm holding on to it
so that if VF users have problems or questions, i can try duplicating them
to look for solutions.

just be warned. I'm having probs capturing video with vv3. Tech support told me to uninstall VF2. When I did VC3 asked me for an activation code to capture. Reinstalled VF2 the problem went away. If you dont need VF2 I would consider uninstalling it before installing VV3.
