Vegas and Screenblast

Can anyone tell me whether Vegas 5 can read a Flash file created by Screenblast Movie Studio? I just tried to do that and the Flash file, which writes itself as a "Shockwave" file, comes out completely transparent....

No, Vegas 5 cannot read Flash created by Movie Studio.

Movie Studio renders Flash as motion video. The SWF plug-in in Vegas will read vector/title-based scripts only. The intent all along has been to allow Vegas to read .swf files for use as animated text.
