Vegas and SmartSound Sonic Fire Pro

I don't wish to be accused of heresy, but does anyone in this forum have experience with Sonic Fire Pro and Vegas 4? I understand that Sonic Fire Pro does not "directly integrate" with Vegas but that it can used? I'm not sure what that means. Any help?

Sonic Fire Pro uses a video stream to match music of the same length, it will open AVi's and create WAV so there is no direct integration other than moving stnadard file formats around.
