Vegas and WMV Renedering

Does Vegas 6 support rendering a video file using Windows Media CODEC direct from the timeline? I thought that V4 did on my old computer, but dang if I can get it to work on the new computer with V6. I had to first render an AVI file and then using the standalone WM Encoder app to re-render.

If it does work, any idea as to why it doesn't show up in my rendering options? I tried using using custom settings, but no Windows Media showed up under compression options.

Mine shows WMV as an option. You might want to try a reinstall.

Same here. No problem in VV 3, Vegas 4, 5 and 6 to render to WMV directly from the timeline.

WMV is my personal delivery format of choice. I use it almost daily. I've found it in Vegas 4, 5 & 6.
