Vegas as a Live Service

hello Magix and Veags Developers as will ass the Vegas Communities

i was told be someone that after Vegas 19 the vegas number ends now i don't know if this is true or False but i am now a bit curious

well vegas 19 go in to Live Service mode

instead of releasing a new number version of Vegas over year or so

with a one time payment

you just release patch update and UI upgrade over time

so user don't has to keep on spending 399 over the course of a year or so

i think a Live Service Option would be a great idea for a program like magic Vegas and adobe premiere especially with Vegas Post that has multiply Software's package for the price of one

Developers and Staff Members what do yall think of this Feedback idea going forward in the future ?

That sort of business model doesn't make sense for a company trying to survive on selling software. Sell one version and they get free updates from then on... how do you pay the developers to keep making those updates? We must remember, VEGAS Creative Software isn't trying to sell cameras and other devices to video professionals with their software like some other NLEs out there are. They do not have another revenue stream to subsidize the development of VEGAS.

The more logical approach would be that you buy VEGAS once for full price, and that comes with a year of updates, and then if you want to keep adding more updates, you can buy another year for a smaller amount of money. Unlike a subscription, VEGAS would still work if you did not buy another year of updates, you just would not get any of the new features added in the new updates since.

Or, you can subscribe to VEGAS 365 and get updates as long as you remain subscribed.

Sure, a live payment where you pay every year or so for the latest updates makes sense to me. Magix does this for other software.
