NAT! Thank YOU! . .. Now this is the stuff for US starved European's .. . yeah, yeah SPOT all over the States and OZ and the Far East . .. . now this is SERVICE and very very very strong R'nB ... phhhoarrghghg. . . .
As someone who's been putzing around with Vegas for a several months and not yet done any "real work' with it (other than a couple short animations), I enjoyed the hell out of watching him put together the music video. A simple video, yes, but he did it so fast and made it look so easy. Makes me really want to cut my teeth on a real project. Hm... my brother-in-law is in a band -- I should see if he'll let me use that as a guinea pig.
Anyhow, thanks for posting that! I have got to get me to one of these conventions. It was especially cool to see Vegas being demonstrated at an "other-industry" convention.
cool demonstration, but I wish that somebody would have adjusted the audio. i can barely hear the instructor speak, and if I turn up the volume the music is blaring.
" wish that somebody would have adjusted the audio."
Yes, what a horrible taping, even worse is they encoded to REAL so there is no ability to "Save target as". On a slow connection like mine it's impossible to stream video but saving the file to disk solves that unless of course it's REAL so I got without exaggeration 2 fpm. Worthless to anyone not already familiar with Vegas + DVD.
Sony should post something like this done correctly.
There is some web content that is only available with Real. There are complaints that Real will make itself the default player. I think you just need to make sure during the install that Real is not the default player. I have it and have not had any problems. Windows media player is still my default player.
