Vegas Audio 2.0 vs. Vegas Video 3.0

Hi
I used to work with Vegas Audio 2.0 to edit radio commercials. Now, at my new job, I would like to use the same software to edit radio news items. Since I liked to work with Vegas Audio so much, I'm wondering whether Vegas Video 3.0 is as good as Vegas 2.0, audio -wise that is.

Vegas 3 has everything that both Vegas Audio 2 and Vegas Video 2 had, plus lots more. For that matter, Vegas Video 2 had everything that Vegas Audio 2 had, plus more.
