I was thinking of purchasing Vegas Audio 2 & the Echo
Layla24 and I am looking for any input as to whether it's a
good combo or not such as latency issues,syncing issuses to
Cakewalk Pro Audio V9.03, weakness, strengths. How about
recording using the ADAT interface and the 8 analog inputs
for 16 tracks at once recording. I would be using it on a
Intel PIII 600 with an Intel BX2 440 mother board, 384 MB
of Ram, SCSI ultrawide 7200 RPM hard drive, ATI AGP Expert
98 videocard with 8 MB of Ram. I run Windows 98 Second
Edition updated from Microsofts website to all the latest
patches and fixes (DirectX 8.0 etc.) at a resolution of
1152x768 at 32bit color. As mentioned I would also be
running Cakewalk Pro Audio V9.03 synced with vegas on the
same computer.
