Vegas Audio envelopes

Does anyone know if you can and how to copy an envelope (say volume) with
all it's points from one track and paste it in another? I seem to recall
something somwhere saying it was possible but I cant find it nor do I
seem to be able to find the capability. Thughts...? thx!!

Duplicate track will work. Then turn off "lock envelopes to events" toolbar buttons and delete all the event in the new track. Just a copy of the envelopes will remain.

Select Evelope tool
Double Left Click on the Track you want to copy the envelope from.
Right Click, Select copy.
Click on the Track you want to past to, and then Right Click and Paste.

Envelopes can be copied and pasted to another instance of Vegas.

I am hoping that if you had to ask this question, that you don't actually own Vegas yet? If you do own Vegas, then shame on you!!! Open up Vegas and Try it out and see for yourself!!!!!

you can always copy and paste between multiple Vegas sessions too.
