I was surfing the net and reading about the products of sonicfoundry. I’m wondering, is Vegas Audio also included in the Vegas Video 3 or is it completely different? I can download the demos and see for myself but it takes a long time!

If all you want to do is Audio, Vegas Audio 2 is probably all you need. However, the more I used Vegas Audio 2, the more interested I became in the video aspect so I upgraded to Vegas Video 2 and now Vegas Video 3. I've never looked back...go with Vegas Video 3. Its so damn flexible you can use it to fly up your own nose hole.
You can do anything (really more) with Vegas Video 3 you can do with just plain old Vegas Audio 2. Besides, it looks as if Vegas Audio is a dead-end product. If you want new features, bells and klaxtons, go with VV3. That's just one man's opinion.
