Vegas Audio vs. Sound Forge 4.5

Can someone tell me the core difference(s) between these
two packages Sound Forge 4.5 vs Vegas Audio? They seem to
do the same thing on the digital audio editing side. It
seems that Vegas Audio is the way to go, but when you click
on the Learn More button on side of a Vegas Audio page, you
see that SF suggests using Vegas with Sound Forge.
What benefit is there with combining these two prods?
THANKS!!
Barry

Sound Forge - which can be summoned from within Vegas - will give you far greater (and easier)
audio editing capabilities than you get in Vegas. So the thing to do is use both. I use Cool Edit with
Vegas for the same reason. Tony
