VEGAS Blu-Ray Template - NO AUDIO

megts wrote on 6/24/2015, 9:40 PM
I am rendering in VP12 and using the Mpeg2 Blu-Ray 1920x1080-60i and set the drop down Output Settings to DVD. It produces an m2v file. I pull the file into DVD Architect and burn a Blu-Ray Disk.....and...NO AUDIO. With VLC player I can play the m2v file put there is no audio. There is also no audio settings that can be adjust when using the above mentioned Vegas Blu-Ray settings, when rendering.

This is making me nuts. What could I possibly be missing?
I love the look of the video output but with no audio, it is useless.
Please respond ASAP
I have a deadline and need somebody's help, Quick.
if you can email me directly, my email is mike@woctulsa.org

Thank in advance.

You need to render a separate AC3 audio file. Then load the video (m2v) and audio (ac3) into DVD Architect and your good to go or use whatever authoring program you choose.

I don't have Vegas installed on my system at present, but after you create the video file (m2v) you then need to create the audio file using one of the sound templates (AC3 etc.- but not sure if this is the correct one for Bluray) and make sure to render this to the same folder as you rendered the video. Then when you insert the video into Architect it will pick up the audio at the same time (reason for it being in the same folder).
Hope this helps.

You render the audio separately in AC3 or PCM format. Import the video and audio files into DVD architect and go from there.

I render the AC-3 file first and wait for it, then I render the video. Then I don't forget to do it.
