Vegas Capture

Vegas Capture will not display either monitor, they just show up as a gray box and my recording devices are not recognized.

version is 5.0.6 im on windows 10

To get my monitor to show, I had to force capture to use the built-in Intel card instead of the nVidia card and I have to run it separately, not from Vegas.

Sometimes I find when I open Screen Capture a second time it works.

My solution
Copy the program out of C:\Program Files\VEGAS\VEGAS Pro ---\VEGASCapture and put it in Program Files.
Open that .exe file with your other GPU and ready for this
