when i use my canon GL1 to digitize a whole 60 min tape
using vegas capture i have found that the sound is out of
sync 8 frames ( sound is behind)at 60min.
yesterday i recieved a new replacement panasonic dv 2000
deck.
NOW capturing with vegas video
1) when i digitized a 60min tape shot on the GL it is NO
longer out of sync. at 60min it is within 1/2 frame
2)when i digitize a 60 min tape shot on my canon elura it
is 18 frames out of sync at 60min ( sound behind).
when i use MS6 capture
1) GL tape was NOT out of sync
2) elura tape was NOT out of sync
just to make sure i digitizing the elura dv tape 3 times
using vegas capture and twice using MS6 capture the results
was always 18 - 18 1/2 frames out of sync using vegas
capture and within 1 frame using MS6.
the GL and elura 60 min tapes were made using a film slate
and CLAPPING it every 5 min .......
i'm not looking for any answers just thought i'd pass this
info along ....
