So first of all I am using Sony Vegas Pro 14 and Adobe After Effects CC 2017.

Hello, I am new Sony Vegas user and when I import file that is downloaded or rendered in After Effects then Sony Vegas crash...

I tried just drag-and-drop but also File>Import>Media but still same result

And also I tried importing Premiere Pro file or After Effects file saved as Premiere Pro file it gives me this message:

Exception Message: startIndex cannot be larger than length of string.
Parameter name: startIndex
Stack Trace:   at System.String.Substring(Int32 startIndex, Int32 length)

Hope someone can help me with this :)

For such kind of animations I'd rather use an alpha channel instead of green screen background, but …

… I tested this file in both VP14 and VP15 and it worked fine.

Which build of VP14 do you use?

By the way after importing it crashes almost immediately :'(

Which build, not which version. You'll see the build number in the "Info" submenu of the "Help" menu.

filipt14 wrote on 12/19/2017, 11:40 AM

I am using build 161

Marco. wrote on 12/19/2017, 11:41 AM

Then first you should do is updating to current build 270.

And what does that M next to your image means?

That was an upgrade, indeed.

"M" is "moderator".
