"when I include a WAV file?"

Do you mean you are including a WAV file as a project source?
Are you also rendering to WAV as your DNxHD output?

Don't use the quicktime audio codecs. They are caca.

Yes, I'm using a WAV file as one of my Project Media and exporting to a MOV file using DNXHD via the 'Better Method' steps. Steps to reproduce are:

1. Start new project.
2. Add the WAV file as Project Media and add to the timeline.
3. Add a video track and simple text with 'Test 1'.
4. Render to MOV DNXHD. Crash occurs.
5. Rendering to Sony AVC MP4 works fine.

I suppose I could just go with the AVC, although The Better Method has proven to have great quality at lower bitrates for YouTube.

I'm sorry, but I don't see your response to the question:

"Are you also rendering to WAV as your DNxHD output?"

When you RENDER the DNxHD output file, did you choose WAV PCM Audio codec in the Audio Render Tab, or did you choose something else, such as a Quicktime audio codec?

Apologies, missed that first part. Under the Audio tab, I'm rendering to 'MP4 Low Complexity AAC'. I've also tried 16-Bit Endian and same crash.
