I am very new to this recording thing. In the past month I've purchased a Dell 410 550 Mhz Pentium 3 server w/512 Meg of Ram, Mackie 1604 VLZ, Mackie Powered Monitors, Presonus ACP 88, and an M-Audio Delta 1010, and a pair of Oktava MC012's. I'm so excited to be using my new gear, but I've hit a major bump in the road. The problem is with my Vegas Pro software that came with the Delta 1010.
Anytime that I try to load up a .wav file, wether it be by recording it or by finding it on the hard drive, and placing it on my track list the software crashes. Each and everytime I push the record button the program crashes.
It will allow me to preview .wav files on the hard drive but if I try to assign it to a track then the program crashes.
I've dealt with the Sonic Foundry tech guy and we have not had much success at fixing the problem. I downloaded it off the website and it still did the same thing.
Thanks
Brandon
