Vegas Edit 19 - Restoring crossfade as default transition

Hi everyone,

I'm not sure how it happened, but after dropping a GL Zoom transition on to two clips that had been using the default crossfade, I'm now finding that every time I overlap two clips, it uses the GL Zoom transition. How to I stop Vegas from doing this and go back to using the generic crossfade as the default?

I am using Vegas Edit 19. Thank you in advance to all who answer.

Remove the GL zoom transition from the track. Then overlap the ends of the events if not already so.
