Im looking for a place to make feature suggestion.
I just wanted to a suggest shortcut keys for layers in the timeline. The most helpful time saving shortcuts I use in After Effects are the O (opacity), P (position), R (rotation), S (scale), U (show every parameter that has keyframes) on layers in a Comp. It quickly reveals only the parameter you want to see and collapses all the other stuff. Then if you collapses the top and expand it again it restores the view to everything. You can also select multiple layers and do the same to all at once. It takes much longer to have to click through each caret to collapse and expand, and to have to do this on every layer individually. After trying to placed AfterEffects with Vegas Effects I am feeling the pain of loss of functions like this.
(nice, the site made the image too tiny)
If there is a way to do this already, I could not find it. I searched the manual as well, but the manual is pretty small and basic. If its nonexistant, how do I suggest this to the devs?
Oh. One of the other Id suggest is if you working on fx in the effects panel (for example: Blur radius) if we duplicate the layer it resets the view, collapsing the effects controls that were open. Id prefer to keep them open so I don't have to re-find them every time.
Those two things would be super helpful to have in Vegas Effects. Effects is powerful but there is plenty of room to improve.
