Vegas failing to start

Hi, I'm trying to start Vegas 20 after being away from my computer for some months. I immediately get a message that something went wrong and I could send a report. I click on send and it goes away... forever. I've tried this half a dozen times... always the same deal. I decided to go to Magix and download my program again and I cant get into Magix as a registered owner. Whats going on?

@Bob-Ritchie The usual cause is the email address. Is it possible you are using a different one to that which your products are registered to?

You can select all and then control + c. Come back here and then control + v to paste.

Or the key part is where the exception is- it should say the fault is with vegas.exe or more usefully with a particular plugin, etc.

Alternatively take a screenshot. Windows key + shift + s should let you just select the problem reporter box. Save the screenshot and upload it here with the arrow next to the smiley face.
