What it's edited with is rather irrelevant in that context, if you're talking cinema release I'd imagine heaps of movie soundtracks have been done with SoFo products. As for the film don't really know, quite a bit of stuff has been done in DV for cinema release but obviously the format seriously limits the quality on a big screen.

I don't remember the "Film" name, but the guy who did "Sex, Lies, and Videotape," I believe that is the title, released something within the last year completely shot on a Canon Mini-DV. Peter Soderberg, or something like that, from Baton Rouge, LA, went to LSU.

As far as quality is concerned, it would likely beat that Blair Witch Project movie from a few years ago that made everybody nausieated from all the jerking and bouncing of the camera.
