From what I've heard, no. It wouldn't really make too much sense, as FCP pretty much has the Mac locked up. I don't mean this in a bad way, I like FCP and use it at work, and I know many who love it. It is so good, and well liked that Adobe stopped developing Premier for the Mac. I doubt Sony will do a complete re-code of vegas for such a limited user base. It would actually make more sense to develop for linux. I know i would buy a Linux version, but alas, I doubt this will happen any time soon either.

Thanks man!
I had a good PC, and now I´m using FCP, but I miss VEGAS 5- ;)
It´s so easy to use it, and FCP is not.

I asked long ago. Basically the response from a then Sonic Foundy tech was when hell freezes over. So, no, Vegas won't be seen on those cute little Mac's. Linux WOULD BE nice. Doubt we'll see that either.

Would love to dump Windows. Me and a couple hundred million others.

Unless and until Apple changes their processor protocols, most of the things you enjoy in Vegas wouldn't work correctly anyway. This is one of the reasons that Vegas won't run under PC emulators either. It would effectively be a total re-write of the software to have it be more hardware capable which Apple more or less requires. I may be wrong, but I believe every media app in Macland has to have a hardware application layer, which Vegas does not have.
