Vegas forgets to 'Ignore MIssing Files'

Everytime I start my project Vegas prompts me to search for or ignore some missing files that I have removed from my workstation.

If I select to 'Ignore missing files and leave offline' the next time I open the project I'm prompted again.

Is there a way to tell Vegas I REALLY want to ignore the files... permanently?

Just a curious question, but if you're ignoring the files permanently, why are they still in your project?

I have the same question as Chienworks; why not just use Remove All Unused Media and be done with it?

Sweep the media pool/project media. It's the little "lighting bolt" icon in the upper left.

Because I have lots of media files in the 'Project Media' window that I haven't used yet but I may need to use. If I remove unused media, I'll need to drag-n-drop all my unused AVI's back into the Project Media window again.

The missing files in question were just JPG stills that I had on my desktop and dropped to the timeline for a test early in the project. The JPG's have since been removed from the timeline and deleted from my desktop.

Anyway - I just found that if I removed the missing JPG's from the Project Media window the problem goes away. It just seems that 'Ignore Missing Files and Leave Offline' probably should have done that for me.

Thanks for the help though.
