Vegas GPU support & Ivy Brdge chipset

Can anyone shed any light on whether or not the Vegas GPU support will work with Intel's soon to be released Ivy Bridge chipset? Ivy Bridge is supposed to be the fastest gun in the west, but if you still need a separate nVidia or ATI video card for GPU support this makes it much less appealing as the basis for an editing system.

While the Ivy Bridge HD4000 graphics is considerably faster than Sandy's HD3000, based on reviews I have read I'd estimate it's equal to about 80 Cuda cores. Furthermore it seems as though Vegas GPU acceleration is not working so much with the CPU but more "or" the CPU. So I doubt the HD4000 would be of much benefit for Vegas unless there are some routines in the HD 4000 easily accessed and optimized for Vegas, which I doubt. That's the long answer.

The short answer is highly unlikely.
