Somebody please help me! Vegas 2.0d keeps on locking up when I press play or record.
Recently I have installed Direct X 8.0 (with the newest driver), and Vegas has been acting buggy since then. I installed the latest revision to Direct X 8.0 yesterday, and since then, Vegas has been unusable because it keeps locking up, even after continuous re-booting.
I am using a MOTU 2408MKII on a HP 8580C, PIII with 256MB of RAM, a 20Gb hard drive.
Note that all of my other apps (including Cakewalk 9.03, Acid 2.0, SF 5.0) all work fine. It's just Vegas.
Anybody with similar problems? Better yet, anybody with suggestions?
