Vegas Hub

peter90000 wrote on 3/15/2022, 1:46 PM

While downloading stock footage from the hub, my computer asked me if I wanted multiple downloads from the site. Since I had accidently clicked on download twice for the clip I wanted, I answered "no". Now my computer will not let me download more than one clip from the hub during one sitting. I have to shut down program and log back in to access another clip. Is there a way to access any settings for the hub to reallow multiple downloads? I tried modifying the chrome settings and it did not change things back. I just want to be able to download more than one clip from the hub without having to shut it down and reopening it every time. Thanks

I think Hub is Edge not Chrome. See if there is a setting in there to reset it.

Just tried it in Edge, it does not work. Also, now, since last night, it won't let me download any clips from the hub anymore at all. I'm not sure what to do anymore.

Maybe this can be a clue?

I went through those steps, included adding the following address to settings in Edge to accept multiple downloads https://ui.content.vegas.magix-hub.com, it still does not work. There has to be someone else out there who has come across this situation.

@peter90000

We are investigating this issue but so far not able to repro internally.  In the meantime, can you please try following steps and see if this helps in anyway?

1.       Close VEGAS 19

2.       Go to VEGAS local application data folder – path will look like this “C:\Users\<YourUserName>\AppData\Local\VEGAS Pro\19.0. Note replace “<YourUserName>” with logged in user name.

3.       In this folder, look for the folder named “WebView2” and rename it to “WebView2.bk”.

4.       Start VEGAS 19 and try again downloading from VEGAS Hub.

I renamed the folder to "webview2.bk. When I restarted vegas and opened the hub, it made me accept the terms of use like the first time I initially used it at start of subscription, but I still can't access any clips. If I fill in a type of clip I want like "happy" , nothing happens. When I click on the icons for "curated content", no clips are offered up. I appreciate your effort to help me out, any other suggestions ?

@peter90000 Can you see or preview any clips in VEGAS hub? If not, most probably server issue. Please try logout and then login again to make sure you can see contents from the server.

peter90000 wrote on 3/17/2022, 5:44 PM

Like I mentioned in previous post, I cannot view any clips in the hub. First issue was only being able to download one clip at a time without having to close out and reopening the hub to download another one. New issue is no clips are viewable in hub at all.

Not able to view the clips at all - seems like server issue. I will check with our server team to see if there are any outages related to VEGAS Content downloads.

Here is an update. For the past 2 days I could not view nor download any clips on the hub. Then about an hour ago, I was able to view and download multiple clips. I downloaded 4 random clips as a test to see if it would work. On the fifth clip it would not let me download and there was a written notice in the download box that said "you have exceeded your download limit within the last 31 days. This does not make any sense because the subscription I have includes unlimited downloads from the hub. I seem to be spending most of my time trying to deal with technical issues than actually producing any work on vegas 19.
