Vegas Hub Downloads Not In 4K

Sassylola wrote on 9/17/2024, 6:58 PM

I upgraded from Vegas 21 Suite 365, to Vegas 22 Suite 365. I have version 122 installed. When I go to download a video in Vegas hub I only have the option to download at 1080 or 720. I tried numerous videos in hub and none will give me the option to download in 4K. I also signed in and out of my Vegas Hub account three times and still only get HD content.

My project file is set to 3840X2160. In Vegas 21 Suite 365 I had no problems getting 4K video files from Vegas Hub. I have not reached my download limit as I just renewed to Vegas 22 suite late last month. I downloaded one 4K video file when I installed Vegas 22 earlier this month. Tonight I went to download a Christmas tree video and they are all in HD. I tried other content and all are in HD.

I have attached some screenshots. And when I purchased Vegas 22 Suite it says you get 4K content.

Is something wrong with Vegas Hub? Or has 4K content been discontinued? Thanks

It should still be available, I know I've used 4K in my projects, but keep in mind not all content featured on Hub's content library is in 4K, it depends on what resolution whoever created that content submitted it in.

@fr0sty, I tried this morning again to download 4K content in Vegas hub. And the only options I have is to download in HD. No 4k option is given. In my screenshot it says its 4k content within Vegas hub, when I go to download any one of them below I only have a option to download in HD.

I have to agree with @fr0sty. Not all footage is in 4K. But here are a couple that I found quickly that I can download in 4K.

I typed in 4K in the search bar, and every one listed that I tried, I could download in 4K.

@Reyfox, I tried downloading your exact files from Vegas Hub as you did and you can see I have no option to download in 4K. I also included a screenshot of a 4k file from Vegas hub that clearly states it is a 4k file, and I do not have the option to download in 4k.

I have Vegas Pro 22 SUITE 365, which should allow me to download content in 4k from Vegas hub as long as the content is in a 4k format. I will have to contact support. When I sign into Vegas hub it must see my account as being Vegas edit, which does not allow 4k content to be downloaded.

@Sassylola I just tried 4K again, and it is working on my end. The Suite and Suite 365 both allow 4K downloading, in addition to the addons and software.

Maybe a mix up, and you should contact support on this.

I contacted support and I now have 4k content in Vegas Hub. But as you can see I am supposed to have 100 GB of cloud storage with my Vegas Pro Suite 365, but I only have 50 GB. Just a heads up make sure you check your profile in my hub benefits and check to see what you are getting is what you paid for. If I run out of cloud storage I will contact support again. Thanks
