Vegas Image - Color Issue

Pete wrote on 7/18/2023, 11:59 AM

Hey there, I have been using Imerge Pro (Vegas Edit) for over 3 years now, through Magix and their Vegas programs. I have noticed that the images I edit and then export always look different. Can someone explain why this is happening? I find it frustrating and time consuming when I have to go back to my edits and make micro changes to get the same look that I want. Please see the attached screenshots for a better understanding. Both final photos were rendered with the exact settings show as the in-progress edited photo.

Thank you,

@Pete What software are you using to look at your exported images?

ASUS PRIME Z390-P motherboard
Intel Core i7-97000K @ 3.6GHz

I don't believe Photos is color managed and enabled Windows Photo Viewer for that purpose. A web browser should show it accurately, too.

It's the default photo viewer. Sony's imaging edge viewer seems to bring the colors a bit closer to what was planned.

I'll give this a shot with the legacy photo viewer.
