I only bought Vegas for $500 instead of Vegas Post, The Serial Number works fine, but Vegas Image doesn't work, only Vegas Effects. Yes, I'm using 1TB of NVMe, but I'm still confused about how am I gonna fix it.

I heard there's a known issue on latest Nvidia driver 471.11 where it broke OpenCL support (it happens to my ASUS ROG as well - just haven't fix it as I have something else to do). You are using GPU Nvidia GTX 1660 Ti, and I try search driver page of your GPU:

Yep, I assume you are using latest 471.11

Try roll back to 462.59. Probably you need to use DDU to completely uninstall the Display Driver and then reinstall previous version.

I installed the previous, I'll wait until Nvidia fixes the issue for the latest version.

I'll test the next version whenever it comes out and will report back on this forum.

A new version of the NVIDIA Studio Driver just came out- I installed it and loaded a project in Vegas Image.

I tried the new (?) Nvidia Studio Driver 471.41, but I got that "GPU error" again when opening an *.png in Vegas Image

What did the error say? Same as the above one?

RogerS wrote on 7/22/2021, 9:17 AM

For what it's worth I'm on the 471.41 studio driver and opened a png in Vegas Image without issue.

frmax wrote on 7/24/2021, 6:40 PM

You are right Roger.I installed 471.41, but the installation failed (with no error message), so I did indeed test 471.11, which I had overlooked.
After a complete reinstall of the 471.41 driver (not with the driver help inserted in Vegas) Vegas Image works smoothly.
Thanks for your help.

BTW. I don´t understand, why this thread is off topic.......

Glad it worked for you.
