Vegas in Video Overlay

Is there a chance to use the Video Overlay (the video out on your 3D graphics card) to view fullscreen video on a video monitor while working in Vegas ?

When using windows mediaplayer or other media players, the video overlay on my 3D card (every modern 3D card have this feature) detects it and puts it in fullscreen mode on my video monitor and I'm able to do other tasks on my computer monitor. I would like to see this feature in Vegas. This option(default) is in Avid Express but I can't enable it in Vegas Video.

Cheers,

You probably know this, but just in case... the way to do this is with Firewire. Video overlays are subject to color / brighness / resolution problems (differences) introduced by the video driver. Firewire is a digital connection and is much better suited for video editing.

Possible connections:
1394 / Firewire port --> DV Deck / Camera --> Video monitor
or
1394 / Firewire port --> 1394 compatible video monitor
